Social Revitalization program for children and youth, conducted by the Collective for Social Promotion "In Candle" with the collaboration of the Department of Youth, of the autumn, coinciding with the start of the school year has been Edutec up four located in different neighborhoods of the town.
This project started in 1998, currently has almost seven hundred members and a daily average of 125 participants, is funded by the Youth Council and managed by The Collective "The Candle."
Through this program, which provides a service to recreational and educational youth population of the municipality in its own environment, reopen the doors of these four Edutec Monday through Friday from 5:00 to 20:00 , welcoming more than a hundred participants.
The four existing Edutec are "Alvagón", located in the Parque de los Conquistadores, near Deitania Regional College, the Edutec "Puzzle" Santomera street located behind the indoor pool in the neighborhood of "The Parral, "the Edutec" Parcheesi ", located in the Social Centre" Tirol-Camilleri, and Edutec "Colorines", located in the local social-Cantareros Paretón.
Moreover, each Edutec has a Strengthening Education Classroom, free for primary and secondary students, prepared for the study and implementation of homework and those responsible (a teacher, a psychologist and a social integration technician) serve questions in carrying out those tasks, while providing supplementary educational material and keep track of users in coordination with the guardians of Schools they attend.
In the play area are several activities you can do: board games, play-station, workshops, crafts, watching movies, tournaments, ping-pong, football, and all within the best atmosphere, an atmosphere , inclusive, intercultural and above all respectful to all participants.
