The Local Government Board has agreed to a budget of 18,000 euros for the maintenance of the International Baccalaureate which is offered in the Secondary School Juan de la Cierva.
With this investment, the Local Town Hall is still committed to this training, which has been widely accepted since it was introduced in the town as pioneers and last year did the first promotion.
Students attending this high school can achieve a double degree as it fulfills the objectives of the national curriculum, with a better preparation for access to university studies Spanish, while they acquire adequate preparation that will open the doors of foreign universities.
The mayor of Education, Roque Molina Legaz, explained that students attending this school receive excellent training in the town "without financial outlay for the families."
This school may be taken in four different modes such as science and engineering, health sciences, humanities and social sciences.
The main objective is to train students with a balanced education, comprehensive and independent, promote the formation of world citizens concerned with understanding and solidarity, and to facilitate international mobility.
