The first output of the program of hiking, framed in activities organized by the Sports Council for the 2008/09 season took place on Sunday 21 September and had a participation of a total of 51 walkers.
The route ran through the Sierra de la Puerta, in Moratalla, specifically, the stream and river Hondares Arabic, to finish in the Camping La Puerta.
In total there were 16 kilometers with an average difficulty and in which the walkers were able to enjoy the spectacular scenery of this mountain.
Some even cooled in the pools of that river.
The walkers took about four hours to make about the route and at the end, enjoyed a pleasant meal at the camp's gate.

The next route, as announced from the Department of Sports, will be on Sunday 19 October and will run for El Berro, in Alhama de Murcia.
Adventure Program
Moreover, on Sunday September 28 begins the adventure program organized by the Department of Sports with a day of rafting and canoeing on the river Cabriel in the province of Cuenca.
Registration for this activity could be in cellblock "Manolo Ibáñez" until 20:00 pm on Thursday 25 September.
