Grant in the amount of 15,227.99 euros for promotional activities and dissemination of sport (11/09/2008)

The Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sport of the Autonomous Community of Murcia Region has awarded the City of Totana, through the Department of Sports, a grant for the conduct of sports promotion activities planned for 2008, for a total amount of 15,227.99 euros.

With the awarding of this grant, the Department of Sports will launch a series of initiatives to promote the extension, dissemination and practice of sport and physical activity in its territory.

According to reports from the Department of Sports, of this amount, EUR 4505.75 subsidize the organization and development of activities that fall within the School Sports Programme, 3109.14 euros will go towards the creation and implementation of various local sports schools , and a total of 7613.10 euros will finance the organization of sporting events.
