Totana City Council will make available to the residents of this county voter registration lists in alphabetical order, on which candidates will be drawn to members of the Tribunal of the Jury for the biennium 2009-2010.
The purpose of this exhibition, which will be available in person from 10 to 18 September at the Statistics Bureau of the City of Totana, is for citizens who wish to know in advance the number assigned to them face to draw to be held at the provincial level, on 19 September .
The consultations were conducted in person at the offices of Statistics, on the ground floor of City Hall, in the Citizens Advice Service, Monday through Friday, from 08:00 hours to 22:00 hours.
The Court jury, which is an institution of the Administration of Justice to introduce public participation in the prosecution of certain crimes, is composed of 9 judges, 2 alternates and a Chief Justice, the office being paid.
In addition, the performance of jury duty is an unavoidable public duty and personal (can not be avoided, for example with certain exceptions, for work reasons).
To safeguard the privacy and anonymity of candidates for jury lists will not be displayed or made available to the public on the draw, to be held on September 19, nor later, leaving the custody of the City of Totana until October 15 to prevent may be required in connection with a possible claim against the act of drawing.
