The Mayor of Totana, José Martínez Andreo, together with part of the Municipal Corporation today opened the extension of the exhibition grounds of the hermitage of La Huerta, coinciding with the traditional festivals.
With this work, which involved an investment of EUR 33,205.27, is fulfilled the pledge it made the government team with the residents of the county council of La Huerta, according to the mayor said.
This compound, which is located next to the chapel, is the concentration of residents over the holding of events and with this expansion improves the conditions for the premises of the parties.
Furthermore, it has taken the remodeling of the enclosure to put the adjacent parking lot to the temple.
The mayor later for the opening of the enclosure, which basses are built will be built a social center for residents of the area.
After the opening the trade fair was held a solemn procession led by the Mayor of Totana, José Martínez Andreo, the Councillor for Planning, María José Bedia, the council of parishes, Juan Pagán, the Councillor of Commerce, Isabel Sanchez, and Mayor headman of the deputation of the Huerta, Mari Carmen Tapia.
After a Mass which was sung by "Charrasqueado."
The homily was followed by dozens of neighbors of the center of town who came to the hamlet in the municipality buses chartered for the occasion.
