The ceremony was also attended by the Councillor for Social Welfare, Juan Carrion Tudela, President of the Foundation creates, Nicolás Enríquez, and the course coordinator, Jesus Villar.
This program, conducted in the locality, under the close collaboration between the departments of Social Welfare and Development and Employment, has been developed by the Foundation "Create Business" in cooperation with the Ministry of Social Policy, Women and Immigration of the Autonomous Region of Murcia and the Ministry of Labour and Immigration, taught in the offices of the Department of Citizen Participation.
This training has been aimed at providing a highly practical and interdisciplinary knowledge to the 21 immigrant entrepreneurs (13 men and 8 women) from Bolivia (5) and Ecuador (16), on the various functional areas of the company and the methodology for developing a business creation project.
During this initiative, which has also had tutoring, a schedule tailored to the needs of beneficiaries, practical training, developing a business plan and individual monitoring of companies created, have made a total of 16 projects, of that 6 will be launched before the end of the year in the municipality.
In addition, this program will be held in Bolivia and Ecuador with the family of the participant.
Totana Mayor welcomed closing a course that has received as "excellent" results and hoped that "the implementation of these local companies and entrepreneurial culture are a positive outcome to the crisis we are experiencing."
For its part, the director general of immigration, hailed the "good and exemplary work done by the Department of Immigration of the Department of Social Welfare of Totana.
Finally, the authorities congratulated all participants on the course, encouraging them to continue to cultivate the entrepreneurial spirit, and noted the effort involved in balancing work, family life and training.
