The Department of Agriculture will propose to the full City Council to be held on Tuesday 24 June, approval for the organization and holding of the agricultural and livestock fair Totana, with the aim of promoting and publicizing the goods and the work done by ranchers and farmers in the area.
Through the proposal, presented by Councillor for Agriculture, John Pagan, aims to enhance the great farming traditions of the town of Totana and the current existence of many farms of this type.
In this regard, the mayor said that "the collective Totana agricultural and livestock sector is of great importance in the area and through them and the municipality is promoted products and create an image abroad at very positive."
Also, the mayor's proposal states that "the crisis is affecting the agricultural and livestock sector in general they need support to cope with this crisis and that the promotion of products can be a very important factor in alleviating this situation. "
