The installation of these photovoltaic panels has been carried out under an agreement between the Consistory totanero through the municipal corporation for the Promotion of Industrial Land and Housing Totana, Proinvitosa, and the IES Juan de la Cierva, Valverde explained Queen.
He stressed that the initiative has technological and pedagogical application, because "it will examine their treatment in subjects such as physics, mathematics and chemistry, among others, while reversed in the center as it is a sustainable green energy production."

The facility has been the placement of polycrystalline silicon photovoltaic panels with a capacity of 5 kilowatts approximately plus a monitored facility that can monitor the operation, fault detection, performance evaluation, display data to users and students, educational use solar energy and renewable energies to bring schoolchildren.
The director of the IES "Juan de la Cierva" appreciated the invaluable assistance of the City of Totana and the initiative promoted by the previous director, Juan Valero, recalled that the installation was a project conceived by teachers of Technology.
