The Sports Council awards more than 120,000 euros at 37 sports clubs in the municipality to promote sports in the town (11/06/2008)

The Department of Sports City has signed a total of 37 cooperation agreements with the various clubs and sports associations of the locality, for a total of 123,000 euros, with the aim of promoting sports activities and the various disciplines and activities sports practiced in the town.

This was agreed by the Local Government Committee at its last meeting following the proposal of the Sports Sector Council, composed of seven presidents of the various clubs and chaired by the Councillor for Sports and a sports technician, is the body responsible for examine both the award of scholarships to outstanding athletes such as grants to clubs.

Through the signing of these agreements will enhance the promotion of sport in the locality, facilitate and promote the actions necessary to promote the development of sports activities.
