The Autonomous Region with a grant to the City of Totana, amounting to 62,300 euros for the provision of home care service (10/06/2008)

The Autonomous Region has awarded the City of Totana a grant amounting to 62,300 euros for the development of special measures and home help and recruitment of professionals to care for dependent persons in the municipality.

Through the grant, the Local Town Hall, through the Department of Social Welfare, will provide continuity to this service throughout this year to distribute this amount among the different services provided such as home help during the weekends and holidays, meals on wheels, remote care, respite care and hiring a social worker to care for these dependents.

For its part, the City of Totana bring the total amount of 20,700 euros for this service, which aims to improve the quality of life of this group in the municipality.
