The Mayor of Totana, José Martínez Andreo, and the councilman of Deportes, José Antonio Valverde Reina, have given scholarships to 18 outstanding athletes totaneros last year, an amount of 10,500 euros in total.
The act of public recognition of the path of these outstanding athletes and providing scholarships Nla, attended by both athletes awarded with numerous family members.
As for the choice of these athletes, Valverde Queen, reported that "the delivery of amounts of scholarships are the result of study and work done by a commission created for this purpose within the Sectoral Council of Sport and precisely where the agency decides delivery of subsidies to sports clubs.
Also, the mayor congratulated the athletes and their families by ensuring that funds allocated for these grants "will continue to increase in future editions."
