The Collective for Social Promotion "The Candle" I participated in the Regional Seminar on labor and social inclusion projects for people at risk or social exclusion, organized by the Red Cross Region of Murcia, in collaboration with the Instituto Murciano Social Action (IMAS).
The sessions were attended by more than 60 people and was inaugurated by the Minister of Social Policy, Women and Migration, Joaquín García Bascuñana.
Throughout the morning, participants enjoyed a keynote speech entitled "New trends in development and employment projects for vulnerable groups, and a round table where four social entities of the region shared their experience on the job developed in the field of social and professional integration of people facing exclusion, among which was the collective "The Candle."
The intervention developed by the representatives of this group focused on practical experience gained from the development of the project "LABOR: a step towards the employability", which are developing in the town of Totana since November last year.
During the operation, in addition to explaining the operation of the Labor Project, highlighted the importance of developing actions to achieve the participation of the areas of population who are at greatest difficulty for the population that is much more difficult to access other labor and social resources that already exist.
