The Mayor of Totana, José Martínez Andreo, recently held a meeting with two representatives of UGT in the city of Totana to discuss issues related to improvements in working conditions for staff of the Consistory and the programs put in place to modernize local government.
This meeting is part of the round of contacts is carried out by the mayor with associations, groups and organizations in this county, in order to meet real needs and problems of different sectors of the population totanera.
Totana Mayor welcomed the outcome of the meeting, as it highlighted the importance and the willingness by both sides to keep roads open and permanent dialogue between the mayor and the social partners.
During this meeting addressed important issues such as the Pension Plan, conducting Relations Jobs, RPT, and the framework agreement for 2009.
The current framework agreement, which ends in December 2008, was an agreement that was an important step regarding the improvement of working conditions of the City Council will work, explained the mayor, who said that "the intention of government team is that the framework agreement for 2009 to continue in the line incorporate improvements to the current. "
To address these issues and to be effective these lines of dialogue and joint work, Totana Mayor made a commitment to convene one month overall work that will address all the issues currently affecting the workers of the City of Totana, once completed the round of contacts with other unions, CCOO
and CSIF.
Also, Martínez Andreo made a commitment to continue working in line with improvements in working conditions of workers in the local consistory.
