The Department of Social Welfare and Development and Employment have jointly launched a program to support start-ups aimed at immigrants in the locality, in order to provide basic knowledge and skills to immigrants with entrepreneurial spirit, and that with the participation of 21 persons.
The training program, which has been opened by the Social Welfare council, Juan Carrion, will be given until the end of June in the offices of the Department of Citizen Participation.
This initiative, developed by the Foundation "Create Business" in cooperation with the Ministry of Social Policy, Women and Migration in the Autonomous Community of Murcia and the Ministry of Labour and Immigration, is intended to provide a highly practical knowledge and interdisciplinary immigrants with entrepreneurial spirit from Bolivia, Colombia, Ecuador and Uruguay, on the various functional areas of the company as well as the methodology for developing a business creation project.
After making two briefings group, and among the nominations were selected, jointly by the technicians referred Foundation and the Municipal Immigration Service, "a total of 21 people to participate in this program, which with tutoring, a schedule tailored to the needs of beneficiaries, practical training, developing a business plan and individual monitoring of the companies created.
