The students of the Occupational Classroom Totana attending remedial education program, participated during the months of September to December, in different complementary activities organized by the Department of Education in collaboration with the IES "Juan de la Cierva".
These activities began with a "Social Skills Workshop and Conflict" conducted by psychologist Carmen Tárraga has basically aimed at young people to learn to identify their emotional states and learn to resolve conflicts.
It is also trying to improve interpersonal communication and initiate and maintain mutually beneficial relationships, develop management skills, receive information and training on the role of values ​​and attitudes in affective education and resolve the questions raised in this matter.
Similarly, it has developed a talk on "Prevention of Drug Addiction" given by the municipal technician, Lucia Gallego, in order to prevent drug abuse by encouraging the development of positive values ​​and attitudes.
Moreover, with the collaboration of Totana Rugby Club, they participated in a practical class Rugby and fun game experience, which helps them to relate to and download channel and emotions in a positive way on the court.
They have participated in a "Workshop on" Cyberbullying and Photographic Composition "given by Francisco García, in which attempts have been basically inform and sensitize young people about cyberbullying, procedures and their consequences, and how to prevent it.
Participants were offered the opportunity to enrich the expressiveness and develop other ways of using digital media doing a photo composition.
