The Mayor of Totana, Juan José Canovas, will attend tomorrow, Wednesday, December 23, from 11.00, a new meeting of the so-called "Council of Mayors", which has been convened for the second time in this term by the President Autonomous Community, Pedro Antonio Sanchez.
During the meeting it is planned to address several issues, such as updating the Covenant of Mayors, dated April 1, 2011, according to new commitments in the Climate Summit held recently in Paris and other European initiatives sustainable development.
Similarly, policy developments regarding the justification or reimbursement of 712011 under Law grants as well as the provisions set forth by Law 2712013 on the provision of services in education, social services and health will be discussed.
Also, Murcia 45 mayors discussed the process of implementation of eGovernment and financing of municipalities under 5,000 inhabitants
