The Local Government Board has recently approved a cooperation agreement with the Federation of Peñas del Carnaval de Totana to organize the traditional parade of the Three Magi next January 5, 2016.
Totana Town Council and the Federation of Peñas del Carnaval have been working for years in the realization of this cultural event;
and both parties continue to express interest to continue celebrating this initiative, given that its purpose is to organize cultural activities and leisure time.
The City will work with the Federation with a contribution of 7,800 euros to finance the costs of this activity, while it will provide the necessary technical support from the Department of Culture, Local Police and Civil Protection for the meeting.
The Three Kings Parade this year will consist of a car with the star, two children's floats, one for the children selected in the draw of the "Royal Box" for children and other groups of the Federation of Peñas del Carnaval.
In addition, this will lead six groups that will dance floats located between Iran and encouraging the public with music and carols;
a parade of children's characters and a carriage for three kings Melchor, Gaspar and Balthazar.
