The "Kalathos" Association held on Sunday December 13 the third edition of "Totana today to its origins" route.
In total 40 people attended this activity is arousing much interest among the residents of Totana and other municipalities to know the origin of our city, according to reports from the association in a statement.
We start the route in the Plaza de la Balsa Vieja where attendees learned how the urban area of ​​the present town of Totana is configured from the sixteenth century.
We continue along the Rambla de La Santa to visit the Moorish oven (nineteenth century monument and symbol of the pottery tradition of Totana), and then Arch of Ollerías.
We finish the route in the archaeological site of cones, located near the town, where it occurred to know the current status of the site after the two excavation campaigns Kalathos made by the Association in the past two summers.
In addition, attendees enjoyed the exhibition of various objects that have appeared between these ancient walls that gradually see the light after centuries hidden underground.
SE postpones conference on "heads"
The Kalathos Association had organized for this Thursday December 17th the conference "The origins of Totana to study", which is going to present the work carried out over two campaigns that have taken place over the past two summers, in which many volunteers have participated.
The conference is postponed for a short time and soon we will announce the final date on which it was held, reports from the association.
