The president of the Association of Families and Affected Lipodystrophies (AELIP), Naca Eulalia Perez de Tudela, accompanied by the Mayor of Totana, presented the joint meal that this association has organized for Sunday 8 November.
The event has been also attended by the president of the Association of Rare Diseases D'Genes, Juan Carrion, and the social worker AELIP, Bethlehem Lorca.
The meal will take place at 14:00 hours at the Miras restaurant in this town and the ticket price is 25 euros for adults and 15 for children.
In addition, during the same there will be a parade of Zahe kidswear, which also involved some small AELIP members.
In the course of the meal will be the delivery of AELIP 2015 Awards, with this partnership recognizes the work and support of professionals, volunteers, companies and organizations who have contributed their bit to improve the quality of life of people affected by lipodystrophy.
AELIP deliver a total of ten awards in nine categories, including one of the most familiar faces is the hostess Yvonne Reyes, whom we want to thank them for their support and publicity to the campaign for investigation in lipodystrophy.
The president encouraged AELIP attending this joint food and wanted to thank those who are helping making their contributions through the zero line.
For his part, Juan Carrión presented the show "More than magic" Alex Navarro, to be held at the Teatro del Centro Sociocultural "Jail" on 13 November from 21.30 and whose profits will go to D' Genes and AELIP.
The ticket price to attend this show is 5 euros for adults and 3 euros for children, and also has set a zero line for anyone who wants to collaborate.
Carrion thanked the City of Totana for their cooperation and the transfer of the units to be able to carry out this action.
Besides, I wanted to show his gratitude in a special way the protagonist of the show, Alex Navarro, who once again returns to work selflessly with both associations.
He also reported that the show "More than magic" will be repeated the next day in the neighboring municipality of Alhama, where D'Genes has an office whose purpose is to consolidate.
The mayor encouraged to participate in all these activities contribute to the causes in which are embedded both associations to improve the quality of life of people affected by rare diseases and lipodystrophy.
