The Mayor of Totana, Juan José Canovas, has recently met with the local MP (Assemblyman) of Ecuador, Esteban Garzon Melo, who has visited Totana within a tour that is making by different Spanish autonomous communities to see first hand the political and social reality of the community of this country in this county.
Assemblyman Europe, Asia and Oceania, pertaining to the party "PAIS Alliance Movement" (Active and Sovereign Fatherland, led by the head of government of the Republic of Ecuador, Rafael Correa.
Ecuador's deputy during these weeks is visiting several European countries where foreign group has more resident immigrants.
The meeting was also attended by the councilor, Inmaculada Blazquez.
During his visits he is meeting with government officials and foreign associations and organized groups, whose meetings laws intended to socialize, make contacts with the community to meet their needs and provide feedback on the demands in each territory.
With policy makers it is delving into issues on urban mobility and analyzing public policies that apply to local authorities on immigration and attention abroad.
