Totana City Council thanked the two European youth work and professionalism they have shown during their training in the Consistory labor practices under the "Eurodyssey Programme", whose farewell ceremony held recently in the city hall full.
It was chaired by the mayor, Juan José Canovas, who was accompanied by the first deputy mayor, Andres Garcia and councilors who have had more to do with young people, in this case, Antonio Camacho, Inmaculada and Agustin Blazquez Gonzalo Martinez, and other members of the Municipal Corporation.
Young, a Portuguese national and a French origin, they carry out their professional work of entrepreneurial-business consultant in Municipal Water and technical informer tourism in the Office of Tourism Totana.
This community initiative allows them to promote professional training and facilitate their access to the labor market.
City officials have appreciated the work done by the two young and have remarked that it is a priority to improve the employability of young people, improve the quality and stability of youth employment, promote equal opportunities in access to the labor market and promote entrepreneurship .
The "Eurydice" project was a program created by the Assembly of European Regions (AER) which aims to enable young Europeans, between 18 and 30 years of age, have a formative stay in a European region by work placements and training.
Totana Town Council has participated in the "Eurodyssey Programme" in its call for 2015, by request of two positions to be filled by young Europeans.
In both cases, the implementation of these practices has lasted five months, from June to October.
The main objective of "Eurydice" is to provide young people from the participating regions in it, any professional experience and, in turn, give them the opportunity to learn a foreign language or improve their knowledge about it.
