The mayor, Juan Jose Canovas, met with local and regional representatives of the new Union of Public Employees (SIME) who was born in Totana recently and intends to set up in Totana Town Council in the near future along with the other existing organizations.
Regional officials presented the ruler some of the projects we have been working this organization in other municipalities as well as the services provided to municipal workers, as they are legal, media and broadcasting, trade union assistance, common administrative services and services by external companies.
The meeting was attended by some of the civil servants who represent the SIME in Totana Town Council.
In addition, the SIME, as explained to the mayor, is offering its affiliates in other municipalities for the payment of its share insurance payroll, legal advice, discounts in companies and shops, free training courses or special prices, union magazine "La Squirrel ", newsletters and personalized service.
The mayor knew first hand the initiatives launched by the union and made available to them in order to strengthen collaboration implant since it is permanently in the local administration, especially considering that trade union elections They held later this year (the next day October 23 date will be announced).
In the city of Totana, the Personnel Board (civil servants) is composed of nine representatives (4 CCOO, 3 and 2 UGT CSIF);
while the Works Council (workforce) is formed by 13 members (5 CCOO, UGT and 3 May CSIF).
