The Joint student-workers "geriatric care for dependent people in social institutions" Employment and Training Program continues his training at the Centre for Local Development (CDL) Totana.

The educational visit covered the training content modules present in the Environmental Awareness and Resources for Improved Search and Employment, training that is within the 78 hours of training activities referred to in the project report.

In addition, on Friday, September 11, the mayor, Juan Jose Canovas and the Councillor for Economic Development and Employment Promotion, Antonia Camacho, visited the facilities of CDL in order to see first hand the different training offer that He has started to mark the new course.
Councillor highlighted the great work being done in different centers of Totana where students perform program-workers practices;
and are the Day Center for seniors "Balsa Vieja", the Alzheimer Day Centre, Day Centre for People with Intellectual Disabilities "José Moya", the Day Center for Persons with Mental Illness and the Residence " Purisima ".
For its part, the mayor stressed the importance of these programs implemented in the municipality aimed at training people in new employment as geriatric care and put at the disposal of the students-workers for anything they needed.
He also recalled that this Joint Employment-Training Program is a grant received from the SEF, with a duration of one year and a total of 1920 hours, of which 370 hours are theoretical and practical 1,478.
The objective is to improve the employability of the unemployed through participation in works or services of public utility or social interest, the realization contemplate specialties that have the certificates of professionalism.
