Culture presents the new program and opens the registration period Reading Club for the 2015/2016 season (08/09/2015)

Reading Club which is coordinated at the Municipal Library "Matthew Smith" and has resumed work with the reading of the novel by Jerome Tristante "1969" will begin the cycle of meetings on 29 September.

Reading Club is a free activity, which started from the Regional Library in order to promote and encourage the development of activities and projects to encourage reading in collaboration with libraries, associations and schools.

Currently, the Club of Totana is coordinated from the Municipal Library "Matthew Smith", by municipal technicians, and has the support of Silvia Magdalena Patrissi, a user of the library, who in turn is responsible for monitoring and address of the party .

The Club meets on the last Tuesday of each month at 19:30 in the Socio-Cultural Center "Jail."

All members read the same book at the same time but individually.

Each meeting is discussion of what I read (the literary style, action, characters, ectcétera).

Thus, the views of the group members enrich the initial impression that each one gets reading alone.

The support group is very positive in the case of some more demanding books read more easily if other people do you at the same time.

Registration open space

In order that the Club has the accession of new members, effective September 1 has opened the registration period for all those residents of Totana interested in reading can be part of this dynamic group.

To register those interested should contact the Municipal Library "Matthew Smith", from Monday to Friday from 9:30 to 14:00 and 17:00 to 20:00.
