The Department of Culture prepares the new program "Reading Promotion" aimed at schools coinciding with the start of the school year 2015/2016, which is coordinated by the municipal officers of the Library "Matthew Smith", located in the center Sociocultural "Jail."

Taking advantage of the summer break for schools, and with the intention of preparing the new program "Reading Promotion", from the municipal library have held meetings with collaborators, for the staging of activities that appeal of students of different age groups.

For the next course activities covering poetry, classic stories, multicultural stories, stories written by Morerica Galan, and user training and other activities will be offered.

When starting the new course, from the Municipal Library "Matthew Smith" it will be sent to schools the animation program, and schools are expected to submit within the registration period, the activities that interest you.

Once the end of the registration period, the library staff will contact each center and the times and dates of these animations were to materialize.

The entertainment program will begin in October and end in May, and serve some seventy groups aged 5 to 12 years.

This program is coordinated and managed by the library staff, for staging, with the collaboration of authors and groups of Totana.
