The Department of Education reports that last Friday, the 26th, finished the course 2014/15 the compensatory education program "Occupational Classroom" with the delivery of qualifications and diplomas at thirteen young participants in it.
Participants are students of compulsory secondary education institutes belonging to the town and Paretón, which was developed in the Socio-Cultural Center "Jail" in hours 8:15 to 14:20 pm, Monday through Friday .
Occupational Classroom is an extraordinary organizational measure of educational promotion takes place at the stage of compulsory secondary education, under the collaboration agreement between the Ministry of Education, Training and Employment and the city of Totana.
This is the duration of a school year and is an educational alternative that is aimed at students can rejoin the education system through a program of professional initiation or curriculum diversification program,
Participants in the program students have received training from a team of teachers employed by the Ministry of Education, in which a basic education within the scope of the cooking and baking, respectively initial vocational training is combined.
In addition to this training, students have participated throughout the year in different complementary activities around specific themes, such as social skills and conflict resolution, sexual afectiva- education, development of self-esteem, drug prevention workshops graffiti, therapy with horses, celebration of commemorative days, visiting the library, among others.
Teachers, along the course, they have transmitted the importance of incorporating into their lives the effort and perseverance to get everything they want and has urged them not to be satisfied with what they have and aspire to form more and best.
They have encouraged students not to miss the opportunity to improve their personal and professional training to benefit from the future to a job.
The educational and technical team is grateful to the Ministry of Education, the Service to Diversity, the City of Totana, and the management team of the IES "Prado Mayor" their collaboration and contribution of resources for the implementation of this educational initiative and encourages students to continue their education in the professional field in order to gain access in the future, the labor market and decent work.
