The users of the Day Centre for Persons with Mental Illness and their special guests, users of the center have undergone a special week where music and dancing are the main therapy.
An initiative that has come from trainees Social Integration Module San Juan Bosco Institute which has been supervised and supported by the technical center.
This special week dedicated to music, is organized in three sessions.
A session devoted to Latin rhythms, salsa and bachata, given by Alicia Cayuela, dance teacher and part of the "Musicafusión" and "Mambo Time Project" groups.
The second session was centered in Seville and rociera music, entertainment by the musical group "Los Romeros of Lebor".
The third session performed by the "Agruante" Aledo band, with its members "David Gallego" and Juan Jose Pallares, he was devoted to Pop quieter and generally compositions.
During this session, some users are encouraged and performed some known issues that liked to all attendees.
Sources indicate that the Center has been a very positive experience, where it has been proved the power of music and its influence on emotional expression, social skills and communication.
From the day center for people with mental illness the City of Totana, they want to thank the willingness and effort of all those who have participated as volunteers to enable such a positive and rewarding experience.
