The Brotherhood of Totana Veronica was again a year, invited by the organization in the Eucharist celebrated after the Pilgrimage in honor of the Holy Face.
One totanera delegation traveled to the spanish town to assist with their banner at Mass Celebrated by the Bishop of Orihuela-Alicante, Monsignor Jesús Murgui Soriano.
The pilgrimage of Santa Faz is held the second Thursday after Maundy Thursday.
Also known as La Peregrina is a Catholic pilgrimage that takes place in the city of Alicante and brings together more than 260,000 pilgrims.
The starting point is the Cathedral of St. Nicholas of Bari, and from the temple five miles are traveled, up to the monastery of Santa Faz, where the relic of the Holy Face of Alicante is venerated.
The canvas on which is embodied the image of the "face" of Christ gathered by Veronica venerated in the monastery.
