Councillors for Employment, María José Baeza, and Agriculture, Diego Muñoz, inaugurated the course "Prevention of occupational hazards in the workplace: Safe Handling of Tractor", in which more than 20 students participating in the CLD de Totana.

The theory of the course is conducted, in the afternoon, in one of the classrooms of the Local Development Centre, located in the industrial park "The Saladar";

and practice on a farm owned by one of the students in the same course.

Finally, participants will finish the training period with an examination held at CIFE-Lorca for the final grant of the certificate.

Under this free course, set in the Farmer Training program promoted by the Municipality and organized by the Union of Small Farmers (UPA) sector workers will get the necessary training in prevention of occupational risks requires them to work at the maximum working conditions.

Councillors have explained that, given the importance of training in any sector and the expansion of content and knowledge in the agricultural field, it is necessary to conduct such programs for their professionalism, so necessary today for specialization sector.
