The students of the Occupational Classroom Totana attending remedial education program, participated during the months of October to December in different complementary activities organized by the Department of Education in collaboration with the IES "Prado Mayor".
Complementary activities began with a workshop on Social Skills and Conflict Resolution taught by psychologist Carmen Tárraga.
The purpose of this workshop consisted basically that young people learn to identify their emotional states and learn to resolve conflict situations, improve interpersonal communication and initiate and maintain mutually beneficial relationships, develop management skills, receive information and training on role of values ​​and attitudes in affective education and resolve the questions raised in this matter.
As part of the educational program, participated in a guided tour of "Ceramics Poveo" with the aim that students from recognizing more closely, as the mud and the development of various objects work.
On another note, have also given a talk on "Prevention Risk LaboralesF", which has tried to sensitize young people about the need to know the basics of safety and health, rights and duties in prevention, light concepts first aid and firefighting, among others.
Another of "Food Handler" in order that these boys and girls might receive a minimum knowledge about food handling and obtain the corresponding card is also offered.
These activities have completed a creativity workshop "Learn to CocinArte", whose purpose has been to enrich the expressiveness (plastic, dramatic, musical, literary, etc.) and develop socio-emotional competencies: (autonomy, self-knowledge, alternative thinking and perspective development of creativity and expression, etc.).
