The Mayor of Totana, Isabel Maria Sanchez, and the Councillor for Environment, María José Bedia, have made awards drawing contest "In Recycling, you paint a lot", in which participated 170 schoolchildren aged 6 ° Course seven centers of the town.
Specifically, were the students from schools "San Jose", "Santiago", "The Cross", "Guadalentín", "Santa Eulalia", "Luis Perez Rueda" and "La Milagrosa".
Students awarded a batch of school supplies, MP4 and tablet (third, second and first) have been Isabel Ballester, Francisco Fernandez and Andrea Ballester, who have received their prizes from the Mayor and Councillor for Environment.
With this contest, as the councilor, is to achieve greater involvement of children in the "recycling culture", encouraging the students to the separation of light packaging waste and scrap of paper and cardboard for subsequent deposit in yellow and blue containers.
For its part, the mayor thanked both schoolchildren and teachers of schools, their involvement in the development of this contest as their primary objective is the awareness of selective collection from home.
