Numerous people today joined the image of Santa Eulalia of Mérida held in solemn procession through the streets of the town, and ending with the major religious events of the festivities have been held in recent days.
Municipal and religious authorities and members of the Holy Foundation, along with several hundred neighbors, accompanied the patron saint of Totana on his name day, coinciding with the local festival.
The image left the Church of Santiago past the five p.m. sheltered by several hundred people demonstrated the fervor and admiration professed to the patron.
During the procession, which is part of the ceremonies organized on the occasion of the festivities in honor of Santa Eulalia, the image of the patron toured triumph was seconded by people with candles that were adding to throughout the tour.
The Band of the musical group of Totana closed the procession.
The events planned by the Board of the Foundation Holy end on Sunday, the 14th, with the wreath to be held after the merger in Glorieta del Convento and subsequent procession towards the Plaza de la Constitution.
