The Department of Services for the City and Environment is undertaking cleaning illegal dumping and uncontrolled dumps in different parts of town;
while public awareness for suitable disposal of municipal waste in the areas designated for that purpose is required.
Municipal Warehouse Operators have the cleansing of illegal dumping that had occurred in different areas as dumps, landfills or existing solar.
The work was done by the Tennis Club, the Place of the gate, the Garden of Don Justo, Trail of Aleurrosas, Rambla del Camino del Colmenar Km slope, Rambla de Santa under the Kabuki, Place of Antigor and vicinity Former Nightclub "Long Play".
It has also launched a campaign in collaboration with the local police to track the spaces after subsequent cleaning, are likely to suffer re-tipping in order to make appropriate administrative sanctions for environmental quality issue.
Local police will increase surveillance and sanctions to prevent uncontrolled discharges in illegal dumps.
The City asks residents increased awareness and cooperation of citizens in the proper deposit of municipal waste in authorized places for them: both the local eco-park and the existing private dump.
Remember that the schedule of the local eco-park is from 9:30 to 14:00 and 16:00 to 19:30 hours, Tuesday through Friday;
and Saturdays from 9:00 to 14:30 hours.
