The Minister of Health and Social Policy, Catherine Lawrence, and the Mayor of Totana, María Isabel Sánchez, presented today in Murcia, accompanied by the president of the Association D'Genes, Juan Carrion, and the delegate of ERDF in Murcia, Josefa Martinez The Seventh National Congress on Rare Diseases to be held from 24 to 26 October at the congress hall of Hotel "Executive" of Totana.
The conference will be held under the theme "Building the future, improving lives" and has the recognition of scientific interest and socio credits Murcia Health.
This meeting will also allow the II International Symposium Lipodystrophies and VII National Meeting of Families Affected by a rare disease.
The aim of this seventh edition is to create a space for communication and exchange between affected families and parents of children with ER, allowing the training and therapeutic approach, and the analysis of different interventions in rare diseases, focusing this time on certain pathologies that are particularly prevalent in the Region of Murcia.
Specific content to be worked are, among others, know the different advances in research on rare diseases and rehabilitation methods and innovative therapeutic, which are of great interest to all those involved in this group.
The conference is organized by the Association for Rare Diseases "D'Genes", the Association of Family and Affected Lipodystrophies and the delegation of the Spanish Federation for Rare Diseases (FEDER) in Murcia.
