The Department of Social Services has processed, so far this year, a total of 175 financial assistance aimed at supporting needy individuals and families in the locality.
The Councillor for Social Care, Josefa Maria Sanchez Mendez explained that the aid corresponded to 46 Supporter benefits and Social Emergency (PAES), 94 income Social Inclusion (RACI) and 35 scholarships assistance of FORIN training.
All these aids have in common be directed to support the provision of basic needs of individuals and families with insufficient economic resources, although each, according to their profile accessed and / or obtained one or the other.
It is appropriate to recall, as the mayor pointed out that the PAES address the most urgent and unforeseen situations, RACI permanent low-income situations and FORIN scholarships serve to support educational and social learning processes.
In total, the City Council has allocated so far this year a total of 65,880 euros.
