The 34 students of the Day Centre "José Moya" closed course activities 2013/2014 with an emotional ceremony in which involved the mayor of Totana, María Isabel Sánchez Ruiz, Councillor for Social Care, Josefa María Sánchez.
Both the council and the mayor have appreciated the great work done by each of the workers who make up the staff of the Centre, which has become a leader in the integration of persons with disabilities in the Shire Guadalentin.
In appreciation of the work that users Occupational Center in collaboration with the City's Department of Social Services and the Mayor have given users a bag Origin Totana.
The Centre has strengthened and expanded its programs this year in order to improve the quality of care provided to them and taking into account that, in recent years the dependence of users have been incorporating more.
Thus, we have launched new skill workshops such as cooking and gardening, the latter developed in the municipal nursery with the help of a council worker dependent services.
Workshops have also been developed for health education, taught by the ATS center, professional reference has become all actions relating to health care needed by users.
It has also reinforced the actions designed to promote the employment of certain users, as has been their registration bags sheltered employment and designing a project for training and sheltered employment whose launch is scheduled for October.
