The Department of Agriculture reports that Totana Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Environment published today in the Official State Gazette (BOE) a ministerial order establishing the regulatory bases are established and the call for support measures to facilitate access to financing of farms affected by drought.
This order helps to alleviate the damage caused by the drought that is affecting mainly the southeast peninsula, which has its origin in the low rainfall this year.
The order establishes a special year for lack of a préstamosconcedidos holders under the Royal Decrees 613/2001 and 204/1996, for modernization of farms and new young farmers.
During that period the borrower does not pay neither principal nor interest on the unamortized capital being funded by the Ministry.
In addition, as a specific measure to extend laganaderíade and beekeeping sectors, the order provides for grants to fund the cost of the guarantees granted by the State Surety Company with Agraria (SAECA) to new loans of up to 25,000 euros per farmer.
The total amount of capital is guaranteed provided 10 million euros.
To be eligible for the aid provided in order farms located in the area affected by the drought, including deMurcia Region.
The application deadline for assistance is 3 months from the entry into force of the Order in the case of lack special measure, thus ending on November 2, 2014. Subsidy to the extent of guarantees The deadline for submitting the application is 15 October.
