The Center for Primary Care Social Services has treated about 9,000 people during the first half of the year, with a total attendance of 5,798 and 2,911 telephone attentions.
Through these actions, proceedings have been developed with a total of 1,638 different users, of which 222 were new.
Sources in the Department of Social Services explained that since 2011, the demand for these services has risen by 30 percent, but that figure remains from last year.
These attentions have mainly addressed issues related to the family (38.68%), immigrants (21.36%), disabled people (8.55%) and older people (7.62%).
The Municipal Social Services Centre and has recorded a total of 7,109 active records representing a total of 11,337 different users.
