Ten children from Totana and other towns attended last Friday, the 11th, the "Children's Workshop of Archaeology," an activity that is part of "Totana Verano'2014" program, which has been organized by the Association held Cultural and Tourism Promotion "kalathos" in collaboration with the city of Totana.
In this workshop the children could learn what the work of archaeologists.
The workshop began with a PowerPoint presentation by the children whose images understood as the work done by archaeologists.
Subsequently performed practices doing their own digging at an archaeological drawer where he had placed rebuilds two houses and various ceramic objects, cereal seeds, esparto fibers, fabrics and coins, items that were part of the lives of our ancestors.
They could also develop small pottery and reproductions of coins.
To complete this fun activity enjoyed by all were handed a diploma in which it is shown that the formation of these children as archaeologists has begun.
