Thirteen unemployed Totana began last May 8 at the Social Center of San Roque a training course to improve employability focused training in techniques of active job search and social skills.
The course, with a total duration of 57 hours, will run until June 4, in the morning, and your goal is training in the development of social and personal skills and tools in active job search and opportunities through Internet.
This initiative was developed with the goal of providing the means and support needed to promote integration in the labor market.
The training is provided by a psychologist and has the support of team work orientation of the office of the Employment Service and Training Totana.
The Labor Project, which is part of this training offers specific actions paraformar and guide unemployed people on issues related to the workplace, has the support of three professionals: a social worker, an employment counselor and trainer.
The project focuses on development of actions in three main lines: social care, training and job prospecting with a specific objective, improve the employability of participants.
These actions intended to provide the unemployed with the means to obtain and develop knowledge, skills and qualifications to facilitate personal development, employability and participation in the labor market.
It also aims to provide the opportunity to acquire skills and social skills that enable them practical tools job search, plus personalized advice and support.
The "WORK: A step towards employability" Project is a project developed by the Collective "The Candle", which is operating in Totana since November 2007, in collaboration with the city of Totana and financed 20% by the Murciano Institute of Social Action and 80% by the European Social Fund.
