The Mayor of Totana, María Isabel Sánchez, chaired yesterday the extraordinary plenary session to conduct the draw for the polling of the next European elections, to be held on May 25, as it is legally mandatory.
Around the town 11 electoral colleges, which will be distributed a total of 28 tables are posted.
These polling stations shall consist of 28 presidents and 56 members who were elected in the draw for the extraordinary plenary session, and their respective alternates.
From today the city of Totana notify its status as elected president, member or alternate at the polls, so that in the coming days will receive notifications in their homes.
Polling stations are Totana Municipal Center on Aging, cultural center "Jail" CEIP "Santiago" social center was Alta, Convento, San Roque social center, CEIP "Santa Eulalia" Old Institute, CEIP "Tender Galvan "CEIP" Guadalentin "in The Paretón and social center Tirol-Camilleri.
A total of 19,031 residents living in the town of Totana have the right to vote in the next elections to the European Parliament, of which 18,910 are Spanish citizens and foreign residents in 121 community Totana.
This time, following recommendations of the Ministry of Interior have been unified tables in relation to the last election merging those with fewer than 1,200 voters.
