On April 11, students in the Bachelor of Music course at IES Juan de la Cierva and Codorníu, interpreted the Musical entitled "Lights, Camera, blackout".
This artwork has been designed by the students along with their teacher, Jesus Martinez Canovas and is based on different scenes of some well-known films in the history of cinema.
The project arose in relation to the thematic area that has the center this year, the film, so the idea of ​​writing a story that includes some of the best films in the history of cinema, trying to accompany each scene with musical fragments raised playing, singing and dancing.
The script, to represent the different scenes and the choreography was consensus among all, and the music, their adaptations and arrangements for their teacher, always trying to get all students actively participate in the Musical.
Throughout the hour and a quarter-long Musical, the students played, sang, danced and acted in different musical scenes linked by the story of a grandfather and his grandson.
In addition to high doses of humor, the Musical enabled students to relive some of the great moments in film history, taking the public into his pocket from the first minute.
There were three representations made, one of them with their own parents and family, who received them with enthusiasm.
The intention was to pass the audience a good time, enjoying the different scenes with the support of the music precisely in times like these where the new educational reform, the music will no longer be present in the institutes as mandatory training for students.
Throughout the month of May and June is expected reenacting this work for students of other schools in the locality.
