The Mayor of Totana, María Isabel Sánchez, and the president of Superior Illustrious Cabildo Processions of Totana, Antonio Martínez Belchí, last night signed a cooperation agreement that will allow the municipal institution collaborate with 10,000 euros for the implementation of activities to stimulate the social life at Easter 2014.
The event was held in the plenary hall and was attended by the Councillor for Culture and Popular Celebration, Alfonso Cayuela, and presidents or representatives of the 17 fraternities and sororities totanera Easter.
This amount is recorded in the municipal budget for 2014 in order to defray the many expenses available to the Illustrious Cabildo facing the organization of the program of cultural and religious ceremonies of Holy Week.
In this sense, the agreement includes the organization of processions to be held in Totana and other cultural activities, such as the exhibition "25 years of music in the Brotherhood of Veronica" Coexistence II Youth Nazarene, Nazarene Music Concert of the Musical Association of Veronica, the VIII Bugles and Drums Competition "Ciudad de Totana" and the exhibition "So children see Holy Week".
The agreement also includes working for the celebration of the Nazarene Music, the parade of the twinning of the Brotherhood of Jesus on Calvary and "Drums Almassora" the proclamation of Easter salutation of the Virgin of Sorrows, pasionarias concert band marches Music Group, delivering the banner of "The Arm" and the Contest IV "Bugles and Drums Solidarity".
In addition, the City will perform during the April campaign in different media promotion of local and regional social media to spread the benefits of Totana Holy Week, declared of Regional Tourist Interest.
