The Association for Cultural Tourism Promotion and Totana "kalathos" has organized a trip on Saturday March 29 to visit "Segura pearl": the city of Cieza.
The route is as central archaeological legacy that different cultures have left their mark on this town of Vega Baja del Segura.
Manifestations of Levantine rock art (Heritage) and Roman and Arabic archaeological remains will be visited on this trip.
Morning Merganser Cave, located in an exceptional viewpoint over the canyon Almadenes be visited.
Neolithic settlers, Romans and Arabs left their mark on this place, the only example of Roman construction in a cave in Spain.
After this visit we will go to Old Town to visit Cieza Siydsa Museum.
In it we see an interesting collection of objects found in deposits of the municipality, highlighting the collection dedicated to Andalusian legacy, as Cieza is located in one of the most important Arab sites in Europe: Medina Siydsa.
There will be free time for lunch and afternoon visit the Canyon Rooks, one of the most important sets of Murcia rock art.
Throughout the tour of the town we can contemplate the fruit orchards in bloom.
After the visit return to Totana.
Day: Saturday, March 29.
Departure: 8h from the side of the park.
Check in: 20h approx.
Price: 19 €
Price includes bus and entrance and guided visits to monuments.
Excludes food, which is free and can take home or you can taste the rich ciezanas tapas, since our visit coincides with the Top Road.
