Led by the Association kalathos, Sunday 2 March, the Club of Pensioners and Retired Bullas did some sightseeing in our town.
The group, consisting of 30 people toured the art, history and craft of Totana.
The day began with a tour of the most emblematic monument of the city visit the Church of Santiago.
Following a short break in which visited the headquarters of the association, located in the Plaza de la Vieja Balsa and the association itself gave each of them a bag with typical products of Totana (pepper cake, cake was made sugar, pepper pot, oil bottle and tourist brochures).
After this rest to regain strength, we moved to the potteries area to attend a demonstration in a traditional pottery workshop and later they visited Moorish oven.
Finally we move to the Sanctuary of Santa Eulalia, where he finished the visit.
The group was astonished to contemplate the many and beautiful art forms of the Church of Santiago and the Sanctuary of Santa Eulalia, highlighting the coffered ceiling and the altarpiece of San Ildefonso in the Church and seventeenth-century mural paintings Sanctuary.
In addition, they thoroughly enjoyed the pottery demonstration.
