The XVIII ascent of Santa Totana be held on Sunday, May 11, from 11:00 hours, from Constitution Square, a distance of 7.33 kilometers and will be in aid of the local board of the Spanish Association Against Cancer (AECC).
The route runs through the town of Totana and the RM-502 road until you reach the shrine of La Santa, whose career is included in the regional calendar of the Athletics Federation of Murcia (FAMU) and integrated into the "Region of Murcia Running Challenge 2014 ".
Councillor for Sports, Bartholomew Pallares, President of FAMU, Juan Manuel Molina, president of the local board of the AECC, Pedro Marin, Victor athlete of the last three editions, Raul Guevara, and City Sports Coordinator, Miñarro Francisco, presented yesterday this track meet.
This race is included in the Regional calendar FAMU and integrated into the "Region of Murcia Running Challenge 2014" organized by the Athletic Federation of the Region of Murcia.
Registration will be open until 20 pm on Thursday, May 8 at the FAMU website (www.lafamu.es), however, a limit of 450 entries so it will be closed to achieve this figure is set.
Pre-registration at a cost of 12 euros (3 euros them go entirely to AECC) and the test day will cost 15 euros and can be made in the Constitution Square, between 09:30 and 10:15 hours, if not completed the quota limit athletes.
The race will be held in all categories (absolute promises, senior, veteran AF and local) male and female.
To all registered athlete who runs the test will be given at least a commemorative technical T-test, a commemorative proof bag, a bottle of water, a sports drink and an energy bar.
The test will have prizes for the top four finishers in each general category and ten for the category of premises, will also have showers and wardrobe services, and free transportation for runners, family, friends and fans.
