The Plaza de la Vieja Totana raft houses on Sunday 23 March, the third meeting of associations "Square Partnership" through which a space in which institutions can buy, sell and trade items in order to be self-financing is offered.
This initiative, presented by the Councillor for Citizen Participation, Josefa María Sánchez, with the participation of more than one half of the village associations and organizations nonprofit to be installed at this gathering that began three years ago and before the great response and interest shown by the participating entities, jointly decided to repeat this experience again, as reported by the mayor.
In this space, as the responsible organization, the associations will be offered a space in which to sell, buy and exchange used goods, sell handmade products or promotional items of their association.
It also offers the possibility of recruiting new members and volunteers and be disclosed to other citizens and exchange experiences among participating groups and associations.
Participation in the activity Totana associations, NGOs and groups working on projects of social interest nonprofit, which are legally constituted and registered in the Municipal Register of Associations of the City of Totana.
As explained aldermen Citizen Participation and Youth, today there have been a total of 16 applications though the registration period is still open.
To register simply submit an application, which can be done through the general body of the City which is available on the Citizen Service, Calle Mayor Sevilla.
But Sanchez Mendez recalled that the commitment of the government team is to make available to associations and adequate space for them to continue working in the same way that tools are doing so far.
In this regard, he stressed that the cooperation of the City of Totana with participating associations is the provision of post requirements for the location of each association and the activities required of organization and coordination of the event.
