The Mayor of Totana, María Isabel Sánchez Ruiz, and President of the Association "D'Genes" Naca Eulalia Pérez de Tudela, have recently signed a cooperation agreement for the development of care and integration activities of people affected by disease rare in the day center for people with intellectual disabilities and Center for Child Development and Early Intervention.
The agreement is to develop mutual collaboration for the prevention, care and social advancement of the people affected by a rare disease and their families.
The event, held in the plenary hall, also attended by the Councillor for Health, Eulalia Sandoval, President of ERDF, Juan Carrion, and members of the Board of the Association "D'Genes".
The agreement aims to makes concrete arrangements for cooperation and coordination in the programs developed by the two organizations in the town of Totana and foster care services to these people.
The agreement was signed in the framework of activities for World Rare Disease Day this year under the motto "Educate in Rare Diseases, a subject of all" whose ultimate goal is to continue raising awareness of these conditions, so draw attention to the situation that patients and families affected live.
