On Saturday March 1 took place in the Regional Final Mazarrón Petanque School Sports, organized by the Directorate General of Physical Activity and Sport in the Region of Murcia, and where he helped the Department of Sports and the city of Totana Petanque Club Santa Eulalia Totana.
They moved to this regional competition a total of 21 school totaneros belonging to schools San Jose Tierno Galván, Santa Eulalia, Reina Sofia and Juan de la Cierva.
Notably the first place achieved by the Reina Sofia School in the Open category, the team of José Alfredo Heredia, Juan José Garro and Jose Garcia.
They also had an outstanding performance in the same category the team of IES Juan de la Cierva, a second, composed by Antonio Diaz, Pedro Egea, Juan Francisco Hernandez and Nestor Baez.
In the junior category, also climbed the podium Santa Eulalia College, which finished second, with the team of Rita Tudela, Sonia Marcela Espinoza, Laura García and José María Díaz.
The competition concluded with the presentation of trophies and medals to the top three finishers in each category, by the Head of the Sports Department of Physical Activity and Sport in the Region of Murcia, Eduardo Segarra; President of the Federation of Petanque Murcia, Antonio Soriano, and the Councillor for Sports Hall of Mazarrón, Andrew James.
